"

I stopped telling myself that I’m lost.

I’m not.

I’m on a road with no destination, I’m just driving with hope that I’ll find a place that I like and I’ll stay there.

I’m not lost, I’m on my way.

Do you ever wish you could write something, anything - and send it out into the universe - knowing that someone, at least one single person would read it? You might be thinking - that’s what I have a blog for, or, that’s what my penpal is for. But some of us, we have reservations about sharing certain things with the people we come to know and love. Sometimes, we’d like to know that our outpour of emotions is being read - but by a stranger who doesn’t have any preconceived notions about us. By someone we’ll never run into at the grocery store, or the coffee shop, or the gym. Sometimes, we need to send confessions, sadness, love, heartache, poetry, and other personal language out into the world.

Sound like you?
Welcome to Stranger Mail: A letter writing project, to strangers, from strangers.
By signing up for the Stranger Mail project, you receive the following:
10 letters from a stranger
10 letters from YOU to a stranger

All Stranger Mail should be shipped to SM Headquarters - upon arrival your letter will be re-packaged and sent off to a new stranger. You may sign your letters with your initials, or a first name, or not at all - however, we ask for the sake of the project that you keep your last name private in your Stranger Mail.
Stranger Mail does however require your full return address on each letter you send to SMHQ. (This is how we will track how many letters you’ve sent out into the world of Stranger Mail.)
The Stranger Mail team guarantees that your personal information will be kept anonymous. We do not sell or share your information to anyone, for any reason.
Need more info? Head on over to our F.A.Q.

Hey y’all - I am working on a little project! Check out the above if you’re into snail mail, and do me a kind favor and either “like” or “reblog” if this is something you’d be interested in - I’d like to see what kind of interest there would be in a project like this before launching! Thanks!
